Frank completed his professional qualifications in 1980 and has since gained over three decades of experience in public practice. Frank became a partner in Wood & Drage in 1983, rebranded to F T Dooley Ltd in 1988, purchased Bamfields Westport practice in 2004 and now heads the busy firm of 22 employees.
Frank was honoured as a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants during 2012 in recognition of his exceptional services to the Community. A passionate advocate for community and development in the Buller, Frank is a founding Trustee of Development West Coast, a Director of Westland Dairy Company and Cranley Farms Limited, also chairing Buller Electricity Limited and Pulse Energy Limited. Frank also supports numerous not for profit organisations providing various services through the firm as well as in his own time.
Frank works hard to get the best results for all business and community organisations, his overarching expectation for high quality results resounds throughout the firm at every level. His extensive governance experience and contacts throughout NZ provide a depth of knowledge unequalled meaning Frank is qualified to advise you on all aspects of business no matter how large or small.

Gareth is the managing director of F T Dooley Ltd. With more than 20 years providing accounting, audit and taxation advice to businesses, Gareth has a wealth of specialist knowledge and experience.
His areas of expertise include commercial, agriculture, horticulture and non-profit organisations. Gareth has also completed the Development West Coast Leadership and Governance Programme and holds Director and Trustee roles outside the firm.
Gareth is happy to assist you in any way, and at times travels to Murchison to provide accounting services as an extension of the firm which is based in Westport.

Rochelle grew up in Karamea, attended high school in Nelson and studied at Otago University. She joined the firm as a graduate in 2006, and commenced her professional studies assisted by the mentoring and support of Frank and Gareth. Rochelle achieved her Chartered Accountancy qualification during 2009 and gained her certificate of Public Practice in 2013.
Rochelle has great people skills, and currently cares for a range of clients including small to medium sized business accounting and audit services. Her area of expertise is commercial businesses including retail and hospitality. She has a genuine interest in business development and is the right person to contact if you are looking at starting up a new business or wish to maximise your business potential.

Zach is a key member of the not-for-profit audit team and if you need guidance on if an audit is required and what records are required for audit he is the person to contact. Zach is currently studying toward his Chartered Accountancy qualification and has many years experience in all aspects of accounting after ten years with the firm.
Jo oversees the administration team at F T Dooley Ltd and you will first see her smiling face when you come in to visit us, at reception. Jo is the executive assistant to Frank and Gareth (the principals of the firm) and is the right person to talk to if you need to arrange a meeting with any of the team.
Rosalind joined the F T Dooley Ltd team in 1994, and is a key member of the payroll team. Her focus is mainly high volume large industry payrolls, as she has a solid understanding of New Zealand employment legislation. Rosalind’s background in banking and secretarial roles mean that she is also the most appropriate person to tackle the nuts and bolts associated with keeping the firm running – enabling our accounting team to focus on you and your business.
Margaret is our Dairybase expert. She is also able to assist you with a wide range of GST, taxation and end of year accounting queries or advice. Margaret’s knowledge and experience is irreplaceable, which is why she is also kept busy with the training of our new staff members.
Lynley is a key member of the accounting team having over seventeen years experience working in chartered accountancy. Lynley helps many farmers with their GST and end of year accounts and tax returns as well as retailers and trading operations.

Lisa started her accounting career working for Avery & Roselli (later LA & JM Bamfield Ltd) in 1990 (F T Dooley Ltd purchased Bamfields practice in 2004) and has over twenty years of valuable experience especially in the area of processing your end of year accounts, GST returns and tax returns. Lisa is efficient, friendly and happy to help you with all general accounting queries.

Anna has practical business experience after being self employed for a number of years before joining the firm. Anna is kept busy processing payroll and PAYE returns for a large number of our clients and is able to help you calculate tricky wages entitlements for staff.
Kylie assists our accounting team preparing tax returns, annual accounts and GST returns. Kylie has over nineteen valuable years experience working in Chartered Accountancy, both in Westport and Christchurch.
Tori’s accounting skills stood out when she won the “F T Dooley Ltd” Accounting Award at Buller High School in 2013. She joined the firm soon after as a junior clerk. Tori continues her professional studies towards becoming a member of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Bronwyn joined our team in 2014 after taking a year away from the office with her young family. Bronwyn has over fifteen years experience in chartered accountancy and holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing and Management. Bronwyn can help you with a broad range of business and accounting queries as her experience includes accounting for Trusts, Companies, Partnerships as well as Sole Traders and farm accounting.
Mutinta first studied in Zambia and holds a Diploma in Clinical Medicine from Chainama College of Health Sciences. After spending 4 years in the UK Mutina moved to New Zealand and completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Canterbury University, fulfilling a long held ambition to practice accountancy instead of medicine.
Joanna joined our team in April 2015 bringing with her 25 years of office administration experience. Working alongside Jo Dooley in reception, Joanna will cheerfully assist you by ensuring that you are directed to the correct team member to answer your accounting queries.
Pippa has returned to work for our accounting team after completing a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Commercial Law at Victoria University. Pippa prepares end of year accounts and tax returns and has a particular interest in taxation law.

Sophie is currently studying toward a Bachelor of Science with a major in Genetics at the University of Otago and joins us during her holiday breaks to help in our busy reception area. Sophie first joined the firm in 2008, working after school.
Assists with administration duties after school hours 2 days a week.
Looks after all the office cleaning.
Tony is currently studying toward a degree in accountancy at Canterbury University and joins our busy accounting team during the term breaks. Tony has a particular interest in tax accounting.
Blair is kept busy with administration activities after school hours 3 days a week.
